Most schools talk about giving back. Not many put a number on it — and publish the number. Since 2021, EDU Effective graduates have directed €90,682.95 to charity — not decided by the company, but chosen program by program, graduate by graduate.

It's a small figure next to the $617.2 billion given to US charities in 2025 alone, or the $2.7 billion that companies using Benevity's platform gave in 2025. But those numbers matter here for a different reason: education giving specifically grew 11.7% in 2025, faster than almost every other category tracked by Giving USA's 2026 report, and corporate giving overall rose even as 94% of CEOs navigated real political and financial pressure to keep their programs going. A small education company keeping its own giving program running every single year turns out to be part of a much bigger, very current pattern.

How the Program Actually Works

The mechanism is simple, and it hasn't changed: EDU Effective donates €25 to charity for every graduate who completes an Effective MBA study. Graduates choose where the money goes — from a list of vetted partner charities, or by proposing their own cause. EDU Effective sends the donation directly to the organization, as described on its own charity page. No tuition surcharge, no separate fundraising ask — it comes out of the company's own margin on every enrollment.

The Numbers, in Full

Since 2021, EDU Effective graduates have donated a total of €90,682.95 to charity, with each graduate deciding for themselves which organization to support. No one at EDU Effective selects the recipients. Our school funds the donation, but the graduate chooses which charity will receive the contribution.

That total keeps growing every time someone finishes a program — 2026 alone has already added another €5,895 as of 15 July, with more graduations still to come this year.

Where the Money Went

  • Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières): €28,675.96 — medical assistance in conflict zones, epidemics, and disasters since 1971.
  • UNICEF: €23,931.40 — child health, protection, and rights across more than 190 countries.
  • Save the Children: €16,287.28 — a global federation of 30 national members working on children's health, education, and protection.
  • Charta 77 Foundation: €8,550 — the foundation supports people with disabilities.
  • Chance 4 Children: €2,800 — over 20 years supporting disadvantaged children.

The Joseph James LeVesque Scholarship Fund

Alongside direct charity donations, graduate and alumni contributions also feed the Joseph James LeVesque Scholarship Fund, which covers 50% of tuition for students who can't otherwise afford to study but show strong motivation. The fund works toward a €10,000 collection milestone before opening each new scholarship round; the most recent round granted 10 scholarships, with first recipients announced in March 2024. A call for applications for the next round will be posted in the fall of 2026 on the website and social media.

Every Graduate Contributes, No Matter the Specialization

This isn't tied to one program — it's built into all five best-selling Effective MBA Programs.

Whether someone completes Effective MBA: Executive Management & Leadership, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Coaching, Leadership & Mentoring, Mastery in AI, or Online Marketing, the same €25 goes to a cause they pick. See the full lineup on the program page.

All best-selling Effective MBA programs run on the same model: 15 minutes a day, 10 months or less, ASIC accredited, from €990. These are professional programs, not academic ones — built for working adults to apply what they learn directly in their own business, not to collect a scholarly credential.
